Metabronze Industries Ltd (Metabronze Roof & Floor Drans) warrants its products (Metabronze Roof & Floor Drains & SPS Roof & Floor Drains) against defective components and faulty workmanship for a period after the purchase date, the warranty period for the different range and material composites as detailed below.
10 years - SPS outlet drains, channel drains & cleanout components manufactured from 304 & 316 grade stainless steel, mid carbon steel, uPVC plastic, cast iron, bronze
7 years - SPS outlet drain, channel drain, cleanout components manufactured from brass, aluminium, ABS plastic
5 years - SPS drain grates with chrome-plated brass coatings on floor grates, floor wastes, and cleanouts
2 years - SPS powder coated surface finish for grates
50 years Metabronze bronze roof & floor drains
25 years Metabronze bronze plumbing ware - (non-drains)
Any defect in materials or workmanship occurring within the above specified year periods from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions, will be rectified free of charge.
Conditions:
1. The warranty only applied to faults caused by defective components or faulty workmanship on the part of the manufacturer
2. The warranty does not cover failures by:
- Misuse
- Neglect, including lack of maintenance
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental breakage
- Use of the product in an inappropriate application
- Faulty installation
- Unauthorised modification to the product
3. Reasonable proof must be provided that the product was purchased within the above specified period before the claim
4. Evidence must be provided of regular maintenance for the product, the surrounding surface into which the drain has been installed, and the internal drainpipe, in accordance with the manufacturer's specified standard.
5. In the event of failure, Metabronze shall be under no liability for any injury, loss of damagecaused to property or products other than the product under warranty.
This warranty does not prejudice the rights and remedies available to the purchaser and/or owner under the Consumer Guarantees Act of New Zealand.
