HDPE pipe is now widely recognised for its strength, flexibility, and long service life — making it a preferred choice for modern drainage systems. However, compatibility challenges have often limited its use with traditional drain products. That’s where our SPS drain products come in.

Our specially designed O-rings ensure that every SPS drain — in both 100mm and 150mm outlet sizes — fits securely and reliably into HDPE pipe. This innovation allows installers to confidently connect a wider range of SPS roof and floor drains to HDPE systems without the need for adaptors or on-site modifications.

This means that specifiers designing Floor Drainage Systems can confidently use HDPE pipe as Metabronze. With the use of SPS, they can supply the Podium Drains, Vinyl Floor Wastes, Cleanouts, Clamtite Drains, Security Drains, Vari-level Drains, and Rainwater Outlets that will employ HDPE pipe.

To assist the customer and our operational team in better identifying the HDPE O-rings, we recently changed the colour of the HDPE-compatible O-ring from black to green.
