Supplying SPS Drain Products to New McDonald's Restaurants

Metabronze has been providing SPS outlet drains, Basket Traps, Floor Drain, Podium Drains, and Cleanouts to 'new build' McDonald's Restaurant locations throughout New Zealand for four years. We also provide replacement SPS grates for current Restaurant locations when they want to upgrade their plumbing equipment.
While each new McDonalds restaurant requires only a small number of outlet drains, we enjoy seeing businesses expand with the growth of our communities. We are also providing replacement grates for older premises. Our Basket Traps with hinged grates, stainless steel removal basket and fixed secondary strainer, are purpose-designed for Commercial Kitchens. Floor drains, Podium Drains and Cleanouts complement the Basket Traps, with SPS outlet drains having the same design style for their grates for all their Floor Drain and Floor Waste designs.
The Basket Traps and Floor Drains with a square grate design are well suited for the tiled areas, providing a straight edge for the tilers to work with. Podium Drains or larger floor drains, as are cleanout inspection points, are utilised in the service areas outside of each Restaurant.
All the SPS Floor and Podium Drains are built strong, and we recommend our 316-grade stainless steel grates for Restaurants as strength, longevity, and hygiene needs are critical in food preparation and food serving areas as well as high pedestrian count locations. A selection of our Podium Drains and Cleanouts are Load Class C rated; that is, they are well suited to medium-sized vehicles, fork hoists, and commercial parking and, hence, ideal for utility and service areas attached to restaurants.
We supply the McDonalds specified Drains to contracted Plumbers through Plumbing Merchants throughout New Zealand. Ian Stephens Plumbers, and Auckland based Plumbing Specialist and Consultant coordinates the supply and standardisation of the plumbing materials for the re-fitted and new restaurant builds.
Often, drain products are required at relatively short notice. We pride ourselves on being able to dispatch our products on the same day as ordered or, if stock is not immediately available, within 48 hours.
